Other -- would contemplate death threats but then probably force myself into warming up to the design. Maybe by the 2nd or 3rd refresh which usually is when they nail it anyway.
By then we'll all be talking about the next gen. Vicious (and expensive) cycle this hobby...
Love them. Great job. :clap2:
Sounds like some are going to be slow to accept change. Which is fine but this is not going to be a refresh. Every new generation has brought with it drastic change.
As for those "mustang cues" you can find most of them missing from '79 to '04, but those cars...
I remember thinking at the time looking at the spy photo closeups that the wheels looked like 19's but its hard to tell obviously.
What's even more obvious than the shorter overhangs is how much it lost in height and just plain bulk even under all that camo and padding. It looks to sit much...
A few inches off? You're saying the Mustang is going to be around 175" length, on the same wheelbase, and that it's all from the rear overhang? I find this very hard to believe.
How long is the current rear overhang right now?
Ford is so big on all this fancy lighting these days... the customizable interior lighting, the pony shaped puddle lights, HIDs..... so I think sequential taillights are here to stay.
Make it happen Ford.
No didn't create it.....wish I had skills like that. I saw it on some forum once and saved it, cant remember where. Anyway I've always had a thing for verts and thought it looked cool.
Let me also say if the S550 is as sleek as your render, I don't see why it wont be a few hundred pounds...
Hey JC that's really good! I like it much better then the first versino you posted here. It's cool the way you have the side scoop almost coming out of the skirt.
The only thing is the rear lights dont look like it would be tri-bar Mustang lights from what you can see.
The way I pictured the tail lamps from reading the description of the clinic feedback was something like the '69 lights except overlapping over one another. They mentioned it was 3 dimensional looking and you could reach in and feel the louvers.
I like parts of it but that rear overhang is way too long compared to the front IMO. The placement of the wheels in relation to the overhangs makes it look like the car is going to topple backwards. I also think the rear should be lower to line up with the front.
Everything past the front fender has too much camaro in it IMO. I like hips but that's a little too much from that view. Your side view one I really liked but something about this looks off to me. Still it's cool to see it filled in and proportioned correctly to the prototype.... i just think...
Not sure what that render has to do with this thread but ok....
You mean 11AM? unless you live in Alaska :)
Like the other mules i'm sure it's just some crazy mix of stripped out and slapped together parts bin components in there. No reason to put the real interior on a mule whose own body...
