yes, RPG gen 3 built short block with gen 2 cams/heads. Yah i was at 800 wheel on 14lbs with my gen 2 short block. now with 12:1 CR im sure its making more, gonna dyno it in the next 2 weeks or so. just wanted to see if anyone is running similar setup

is anyone running twin 62's on a gen 3 with 18lbs? if so, how much power did you make

you have 3.73?

quicker rpms but you'll lose on the top end vs someone who has longer gears

yah you probably wont use 1st, I had the 3.73 pumpkin and 1st would be useless, a 40 roll would be at like ~6k rpms

if your boosted you get longer gears (3.31) if your NA get shorter gears (3.73 and 4.10). the shorter the gear the quicker your RPMs climb. get a whole pumpkin if possible, easier install

I just like that I only need 1-2 shifts rather than 3-4 shifts and I stay in boost longer :D

Yah that’s why I have 3.31, longer gear. Less shifting is better. The car now is making over 800 wheel and gonna add more boost.

I’ve been in a procharged one but not one with a PD blower. I’m TT so at 4K RPMs and up, it pulls hard and keeps pulling.

Yah definitely addicting :D. I was at 600 and it was ok, I got a fuel system and E85 and went to 800. But wasn’t enough so got a built gen 3 built/forged short block and hoping to make 1000 haha. But 700 wheel daily is fun but you’ll need the proper tires for that haha

Yah for boost the longer the gear the better cuz your in boost more time with a longer gear. 3.55 should be ok with a 2.97. How much power you gonna be making?

2.97 and I got 3.31 in the pumpkin. I think if your NA the 2.66 is ok

MT-82 is a good transmission, I’m boosted and always wanted the magnum XL so once I blew a gear (knowing I would) haha I swapped out. Even boosted they hold up. RXT is an aggressive clutch and what caused it to blow. And you can send your MT-82 to Ben calimer if needed

get the magnum xl, i blew my third gear and did the swap. cost about 7k for everything., its splined differently so you'll need a new driveshaft. i go around 80-85 in 2nd gear, 130+ in 3rd gear. this transmission is stout

bias ply? if so ill take them

If you take off the tires im interested in the front tires if they are bias ply
