Tomorrow actually - my left arm has been in a bionic brace for the past 5 weeks after shoulder surgery, the GT only has 2200klm on it.
Heading to Sydney via Bathurst tomorrow (approx 800 klm) stopping for the 3000klm service then heading into Sydney on Friday for an appt with the surgeon...
Yep - I do have the spare top round plastic with the thread, did the same for the boss's vert spare wheel.
The strap works fine and is easy to use - see how it goes.
Going to have a bag in the boot to carry the timber, socket bar and sockets - will also keep the supplied pump also, just...
Yes - but is the difference that those cars come with the sequential lights from factory whereas ours would be aftermarket? Would love to do it but concerned about giving an insurance company the chance to deny a claim if I got hit from behind and they say I don't have stock brake lights...
Got my nuts now - were delivered to dealer but not passed on, dealer also supplied a strap to hold tyre in place in the well.
Bought some foam sheets at Bunnings to build floor up to flat surface again.
Cheers

If I was looking to buy now, I would be calling dealers to see what's in stock and available - definitely wouldn't just walk into a dealer and order/wait, only do that if I couldn't find what I was after by ringing around.
Ford is sending many more this way now and are allowing dealers to sell...
I'm pretty sure that quite a few of the ebay sellers use higher postage to squeeze extra money out of the sale or cover the fees that ebay charges.
I've been looking at banners for the garage - $12 US each but $22.95 for shipping and they won't combine shipping which they could easily do -...
It's interesting that this brace is secured by two bolts on either side whereas the Steeda brace has 4 bolts on either tower, wonder if it makes a difference or it makes the Steeda stiffer?

Long trips would be a little claustrophobic, whenever we've taken another couple on board - front seats come forward a bit and the ladies sit in the back as they have the shorter legs
We've only had adults in the back with the roof down, sometimes it goes back up for AC to be on or rain...
Pretty sure I heard him day about 8 hunge - would have gone direct to Tempe if it was $920.
I do need to clarify with him if he is buying them there because they need a 19mm nut instead of the stock 21mm.
There weren't any nuts delivered with the wheel - got to sort that out straight away...
Yes - He called it a spare wheel kit, the wheel plus the jack and jack surround foam.
It's the black 5 spoke simmonds wheel that Tempe are supplying I think, possibly the dealer is buying them from Tempe to supply to customers direct.
I opened the full spare/jack purchased from my dealer today, it looks very much the same as supplied by Tempe Tyres.
Put it in the boot on top of the supplied foam - it sits about an inch proud.
The tyre is on the well floor so I'm guessing that removing the padding on the underside of the...
Fitted the new full spare today - sitting up a fair way higher than I expected, will checkout the Spare wheel thread to see how others have set theirs up.
Fitted engine dress up kit, only issue is the washer top is sitting on the body, will put some foam in between.
Steeda brace needed some...
GB is one of those colours you have to eyeball.
We've had quite a few people say they've changed their order after seeing the boss's Ruby vert - just about every vert looks better with the top down.
Unfortunately, sometimes you need a roof.

My dealer who sells a lot of cars said that the quality control varies a lot - they started out bad panelwise, then went good but his last shipment of 2 cars have been in the panelshop for 2 days straight off the truck.
He also said that Ford had stopped supply of the puddle lamps, waiting...
