Fuck cancer.
I remember all his great technical posts on corner-carvers and was happy to see him over here. I've been working on my alignment the past few days and have been spending a bunch of time recently looking over his...
I'm running a Swift spring and Bilstein shock combo. The ride quality has been great with this combination.
Not sure about it feeling sluggish. The OEM wheels are definitely heavier than aftermarket offerings but the stock PP2 tire diameter is smaller giving a small bump in acceleration.
I was thinking along those same lines. -1.8 to -2.0 degrees camber up front with zero toe, -1.5 degrees in the rear with .23 toe in.
I set the camber up front this weekend and will tackle toe probably next weekend.
My only minor gripe with the camber plates is having to jack the car up to...
Congrats on getting everything installed! I finished my install and used the same subframe support kit with the alignment bushings and metal inserts in the rear.
After removing the convertible bracing I put a jack under the subframe on one side and removed the front and rear subframe bolt on...
Finally got the Swift Spec-R springs, Bilsteins, Steeda camber plates, IRS alignment dowels, adjustible front endlinks, and IRS bushing kit installed. Busy couple of days!
I had a set of these on my supercharged Marauder and they endured a significant amount of abuse without complaint.
It's a shame they don't offer them in more sizes.
Agreed, and/or the G3X is near its peak efficiency range in this setup so the air charge is cooler than the P1X making 951 at 16psi.
Since Lund tuned it they should be able to provide some data to back up the numbers.
I don't understand the hate that seems to happen in every ESS thread. Would have thought the community would be happy another company would offer products for our cars.
The numbers don't seem way out of line compared to other posts I've seen on the forums...
That turned out so great! It's interesting seeing plants from the other side of the world too. What is in the planter at the top of the creek bed with the multicolored leaves?
I'm in the middle of installing mine too! The Bilsteins came with a zip tie to replace the lower wire mount that pushes on to the threaded studs sticking out of the bottom of the strut.
Double check your box because mine were just loose in there.
I just saw the review thread for the camber arms and I like the design of the tabs for locked equal rear camber.
Do you have a chart that cross references tab size to camber?
According to this article the Mach 1 HP has the tires from the GT350R.
