What tire sizes, pressure cold before going on the track, ambiate air temperature? Did you heat cycle the tires before using them on the track and let them cool for 24 hours?
As you can see in the dash photo there are 1300 plus miles of track time recorded. Lap times at Pacific Raceway are between 1.3 to 1.34 minutes per and speeds are up to 158 mph into the braking zone at turn two. Speeds at The Ridge Motorsports Park aren't as high, around 130 mph but cornering is...
I'm using my tires for HPDE events 8 to 10 a year. The tires are 2 years old and have 5/32" left across the full width of the tread. Alignment is factory recommended for the track.
I run Cup 2's 8 months a year. Quality of ride and low noise is perfect.
To those that ruin their tires I offer this, learn to FEEL when the tires get greasy and back off a little and cool the tread. The tire will last much longer.
I run 305/325 Cup2's on my car. Start cold at 34 unless really cold out or wet, then I adjust up or down accordingly.

I track my car extensively, change the oil and replace tires as needed.59 years of driving and owning without a motor loss. 4 decades of racing and teaching and love this car over a lot of great cars.
Cup 2 tires wear quite well when not under load, breaking or cornering when warmed properly. If you treat them nice they repay you for 12k to 15k miles easily.
