Roush axle back is all that is needed to make it sing....
Still pops bangs and sounds beautiful, but zero rasp or drone on motorway, plus you dont have a huge exhaust to try to move / store and its simple to revert it to standard as required.
With light throttle openings its similar to...
Thats a standard roush axle back and oe centre box in place, beauty of it is that its only that loud with the throttle open. Driven sensibly its not massively louder than standard.
We have just completed a 1,000 mile Grand Tour down to Alsace, Germany and back via Reims GP.
Observations
Car has been great even with two teenage lads in the back
Sat nav sounds a bit like Del Boy speaking French, good entertainment
Well suited to French Autoroutes @28mpg
Did 145...
We are on the continent and got it up to about 120-130mph and the bonnet lifts and moves about a fair bit, a la TVR of old. Anybody else experienced this?

The exhaust fabricator who fitted the Roush axle back to my GT said based on both how hard existing exhaust was to cut through and based on it being non magnetic that the factory fit exhaust has a high stainless content.

I wash my black wheels with fairy liquid works well, silicon blade works better than chamois, used Autoglym super resin to polish the bodywork and then a coat of bilt hamber double speed wax [good price from Amazon, recommended by auto express]. since I put the wax on it 3 weeks back the water...
A lot of the replacement CAI appear to be for the US market as they are open topped to align with the bonnet vent [that doesnt exist on our Euro cars] ? Is there a benefit to fitting here or do they just seal tight to bonnet - or worse still do they just suck hot under bonnet air in?
roush axle back for me, sounds great. old rear boxes bubble wrapped and in garage should I wish to return to standard. big benefit over cat back..... less to store
Also the own a competition orange mustang with black roof, also with Roush axle back - great purchase imho, makes you want to wind the windows down and find a tunnel. Clever how you get zero drone with a proper v8 fanfare when you boot it.
I might have seen your car at the Spring Inn a month or...
no, black shiny panel seems to be electrostatic, covered in small hairs and bits of rubbish everytime car is driven. Wondered if anybody else finding this also?
Is anybody else finding their rear deck is becoming static and as a result picking up cr@p?
Car looks lovely and clean, short drive and back panel is covered.
Black roof is painted, my car is CO but I originally saw it on a ruby red and that sold it to me.
Makes the car look sleeker somehow.... would def spend money on it as it is a nice feature thats unique to the car.
I imported the standard roush axle back and it came in at £650 fitted.
Awesome bit of kit, very limited drone as you keep the centre resonator, makes a stunning noise when you open the car up but its only a bit more musical at idle...... was this video that sold it
