I looked up my VIN thru the posted link and my car was not listed. Had a small mirror in my tool set, checked it, looks likes all the pictures posted of "open" ones (I can the see the notches). I guess I'm good. 🤞
Just checked my VIN, says I'm good. BTW, I saw a video posted earlier about this and it was for builds made in December '20 (12/2 - 12/16?). Any truth to this?
Finally outta hibernation last Monday. Had Xpel PPF installed on the front, then took it for a "spirited" drive, first time in "Sport" driving mode. Lot's of fun on twisty roads! Currently 71 miles on the car!
Thanks ! Mine was actually a '69 with a '70 351C, .030 over, medium riser manifold w/a Holley 750, headers, hotter cam, some other goodies, and a Detroit Locker w/4.11's. The only thing I wish the car had was a 4spd. It was C-6 auto.
I'm just south of Boston. Hoping to do this once I get my GT350 fully broken in (currently 51 miles on it LOL!). Finally took it out of storage last Thursday and ran it thru the gears. I'm hoping to head down to Thompson some time this summer.
"As a caretaker of a 66 GT350 since 1987, and now also a 17 GT350.." Any pictures? Growing up in the 80's I had a '69 Mach 1 (summer car only, never saw snow). One of my neighbors had a blue '66 GT350 ( and a '68 GT500KR convertible that he totaled). As much as I love my '20 GT350, if I had the...
Sweet! Just my opinion, but I think the current GT350' s are pretty close to the same concept that created the original '65 / '66 GT350; A serious, balanced performance car that is at home on both the street and track.
I plan on doing track nights once I get my GT350 broken in (over 1K miles). Not to sound lazy, but I just don't have the garage facilities to install a front tow hook myself. Has anyone had a shop install one? Price? And, any recommendations on a good set up.
That's looks awesome! Other than the Air / Oil separator I just installed, the only other modification I'm thinking of doing is a rear seat removal. And maybe a roll bar.
