Great work RBS - Many of us have been waiting to see the RHD version in Fastback for what seems like forever. Looks like the poms are going to have their cars transported to the UK 1 car at a time.
Don't get me wrong, I am disappointed on a whole bunch of things, BUT - I am still maintaining my excitement. Every morning my kids see me checking the updates on Mustang6G and say "Dad why are you always looking at Mustang Pictures!!" My missus was as excited as me about 6 months ago, the...
Mate these photos really help me reaffirm why i chose Black for my order. Sensational, it has presence, class, style just looks great. Thanks heaps.
I was tossing up between race red and blue, but I'm sure I made the right choice with Black.
We have to accept some things otherwise the cost will sky rocket. For now Ford have kept the cost to a really reasonable level IMO. Really like Aus-Mustang said, on the whole you are gonna get a Brand Spanking New Factory produced RHD 2015/16 Mustang. Not a converted import, not some old car, a...
I don't understand the vent thing either, my Hilux has a great big air scoop on the front of it facing forwards but it is a bit higher off the ground. If you are gonna get run over by a car the air vents on the bonnet are the least of your worries!!!
I think it just comes down to keeping the...
It is disappointing that they are not going to"complete" the car by flipping the console. It's not a deal breaker for me, though, I've waited too long now. Actually I am more upset about the tail lights than anything, it's part of the integral design for them to be red. It just looks soon much...
If you blokes know the production schedule so well, what date do they starting building the Right Hand Drives. When will the first one roll off the line?
My 'dealer" operates as a "group" so they own a few dealerships both in NSW & Mid Queensland (the Wideland group), but the guy I am dealing with is handling all the mustang orders for his "group" which I think was 17 from memory. So those talking big orders I think surely must be talking about...
Thanks to WES we now have a great shot for comparison of a Mustang vs Commodore.
I think it really gives some perspective of the Mustang for those of us who have only seen photos and not the real thing up close. We all would know the SS Chev in the pic as being our own Aussie made Holden VF...
Great to see the Commodore and the mustang in the same shot!!!! How do the vehicles compare against each other? the SS is after all performance car with a monster V8 and great handling?
I don't know, my dealers phone rang so I didn't get any more info out of him. I'm not here to speculate but just passing on what I'm told. I thought it was interesting that the dealer doesn't get to resell it.
Here's some info I got from my dealer today that I didn't know - if you don't have an order in, you won't be able to walk in off the street and buy one, and if someone who has an order in pulls out - the vehicle that was allocated for that person goes back to Ford in Melbourne for reallocation...
UPDATE 31/3/15 Even Better News for me today - My dealer has sent me an invoice today of $60413 (which was the original Ford website quote for my area).
Here is the price breakdown, I can't workout what the "delivery "fee is: (i have rounded out the dollars:
Veh price: $54081
Paint cost...
