I ride my H-D Low Rider every chance I get in the summer, but drive the Mustang when I have to. I agree that it's generally just as much fun as a bike, with the added convenience of HD radio and A/C. No complaints either way.
I have a similar creak that is in the seat frame rails that the technician greased until it went away. I have the Recaros and never move them, however, the general jostling of the car and lack of grease seemed to make the problem appear. Hope this helps, good luck!
Like a couple of you have said, it seems like the car can lock you out, even though it shouldn't. My ride has the Enhanced Security Package, which I think might be the source of the glitch. I had to use my second fob to open the running car.
As with most recent performance cars, the Shelby models should hit their lowest point around year 7, then slowly rise (unless they have really low miles, rare combination of color or options, provenance, etc.). Currently, there seem to be more buyers than available cars, but by 2018, that...
Is it just me or does this continual mashup of model names disturb anyone else. First the 4-door Charger, now the Challenger becomes a Demon (remember that name was a variant on the mid-sized Duster model). Why stop there, maybe a Challenger Demon Daytona with a huge spoiler on it?
I've not experienced any additional noise, but can't rule that out. Like SWAT 79, I was looking for maximum performance with better tire mileage (and perhaps less risk of tread cracking), as this is my DD and NorCal sees some 30 degree days in Dec-Jan. I know when I tried to get the fronts...
Got 10k on the right rear, but switched both, then babied the fronts to 16.5k. No burnouts or track time. Only car with worse tire life I ever had was the Honda S2000, which has an unusual alignment AND soft tires... Not complaining, though.
Rocking a set right now... have 7k miles so far, they are looking like they will last a long time (much longer than the Pirellis -- I got 9k on the rears, 16k on the fronts). They have been discontinued, however, they were priced similarly to the non A/S, but I wanted a better rain tire without...
Sounds obvious, but I'd make that issue known to your closest Ford dealer, so they can repair it. Could be the USB port itself (saw that one on my old DD Lexus). Could also Bluetooth in...
Went there in July...it looked like an S550 convention. 3-4 parked end-to-end on the street, many more in the parking lots. Great mix of cars that made me miss mine. Tried to get one, no dice.
