Yeah I re read what I post, and I guess my excitement did not let me clarify, as far as creature comfort and ride feel I feel will be better than the z/28, yet very close around corners, and will beat the ZL1 around corners but not as much tech as a zl1 (not including options) so kind of in...
as far as ride comfort, the z/28 is a brutal car to drive in, not creature comfort. The z/28 is a great weekend racer car, but daily driving it (burrowed dad's while my stang was in shop) was absolutely horrendous. where as the GT350 is designed to be driven daily, and tracked on the weekends.
So those are the main points I'm reading from this.
Affordability is a BIG point... and the "bones" to go gt 500.... Makes me think this is to be a luxury contender, something faster than the ZL1, more comfortable than the Z/28, and a better price than both, while leaving room for the gt500 to...
If it makes it easier I have a divided family.... I have a 2010 gt with a 15 Gt on order (maybe 350 depending on price jump from loaded PP) and my father has a z/28 as a weekend track car... grandfather a chalalnger srt8...so pretty divided...hate family reunions as I have the slowest car :/
"I'm getting me one for sure!!!"
"I'm excited and want one bad. If it turns out to be as good as I'm thinking I may sell the vette and get one. Rumor is the 500+ is well into the 500s. 550-570hp range. We will have to wait and see, but if it makes 550+ n/a, and has all the other stuff to back...
tell me about it, saturday I was pointing out where the presenter was "mis informed" to my Father, and ended up explaining the car to about 30 people... and then wandered over to the cadillac booth to show my dad why my new car will be better than the ATS he's picking up (loving the technology...
2 things... red painted emblems would be badass! and when will that spoiler be for sale? I like that more than the foose one.
I swear I'm going to just about be able to build a 15 with all the parts I plan on buying for christmas before the car comes in.
