tomorrow when light, after having the laser alignment done the car also now drives better than it did previously. wheel dead straight even with hands off.
Had some Ford Racing 'Street' Springs fitted to my GT today.
Sits properly now, ride as good perhaps even slightly better than before.
Bought the springs on a trip to the US for £200 equivalent and £180 to fit + £40 to align.
FRPP Street Springs highly reccomended.

Anybody got a recommendation for fitting lowering springs to my S550 and for its first service?

Answers appreciated, had been teetering on the Roush option as it seems to have an insert which makes it compatible with standard tune, or to remove and use with a tune.
Whats the likelyhood that the tune / procal will flash a UK car? If not then presumably I end up with the throttle body and...
Off to the US next week, planning a big enough case to bring back a FRP x-pipe and FRP lowering springs - however keep noticing the Roush CAI and the FRP GT350 body and intake.... then the performance pack which includes the tune.
Has anybody attempted to load one of the FRP performance packs...
This is simple, if the £/$ fx rate remains 20% lower and demand for the Mustang is healthy elsewhere then the pricing will be increased significantly by Ford.
For sure they may have hedged currency fluctuations but that wont last forever, my bet is at least a 10% increase within 6 months...
I am not sure I agree, a car that was being sold for £36,000 with a 1.6 £/$ fx rate would now need to be £44,300 to deliver the same level of $ income / profitability....suspect if the fx rate doesnt correct then there will be a big price change....
Sorry we missed you Stig, suspect that was Friday when we went to Town.
We had a great trip, seems like every petrolhead loves the new Mustang...great result for Ford. We even got ushered in to the French Ford Owners Club on the Mulsanne on Friday!
If you go for an axle back the original silencers can be carefully cut off and could be reinstalled later. They also fit in the boot to get them home or back to be reinstalled at a later date. The original exhaust if replaced with a full cat back needs a transit van to be moved about...
All booked in for a trip to Le Mans to watch the Ford GT's win on the 50th anniversary of their 1-2-3 finish and brother has had a appendix issue and dad needs to ferry him back from hospital.....
Short notice but anybody interested in a Houx Camping pass and 3 entrance tickets? Regards Ben
