Well, the altima weighs quite a bit less. Driving a lighter car even with less power is often times more fun than driving a heavy car regardless of power. I think given the mustangs weight the v8 is almost required.

Ruby red is one of those colors that is just hard to get the perfect stripe color imo, almost better without. For what ever reason I like DIB and black with stripes the best. *Edit* How durable are the stripes (assuming its a decal and not painted) to rock chips?

If you go to the dealership for all your work then yeah the service plan is probably a good deal. I go to a good local shop and the prices are always usually 30%-50% less than dealership prices.

There are 2 cars I would give up the mustang for without hesitation. A GTR and a C7. Both more than I would want to spend at this time. The good news is in my area when corvettes go up for sale used, they never have many miles on them due to the harsh winters.
