I think I should get at least a free Slurpy for being born at 7:11 AM.

To stay true to useless trivia: 7/11 stores were originally named Southland Ice but renamed 7-Eleven in 1947, probably to prevent future robberies by W. W. Bright and the Dixie Dancekings (only first part of trivia positively confirmed).
was named 7-11 as those were the hours of operation.
and you can get a free slurpee on july 11. it is the 60th anniversary of the slurpee this year... get there early to get your collector cup :)

711's biggest competitor in vegas is terribles, which own the largest chevron station in the nation.
also WAS the only "officially licensed partner" of white castle.

Ed Gein, the serial killer upon whom the characters Norman Bates, Buffalo Bill, Hannibal Lechter, Leatherface, and Michael Meyers was based never in his life traveled more than 150 miles from his birthplace.
