OPG/CS Installation to 2019 Mustang GT in NorCal

Looking for anyone who knows of a good shop to install OPG and CS in a 2019 Mustang GT. I am having a Procharger System installed and would like to get those upgraded just incase. I would do it myself but the timing worries me.

I just did it myself. I would suggest that you do it yourself too, it's not that difficult. Arm yourself with a Ford Factory Service Manual and follow it step by step. The R/H valve cover has a hard fuel line for the high pressure fuel pump, one end of the line is located under the intake manifold. If you were doing a PD blower, you would have to remove it anyhow, but in your case, it would be an extra step.

Lowering the oil pan requires a little patience and you have to lower it so that the oil pump pickup tube clears the pump inlet. With the pickup tube in the oil pump, you can't slide the pump off of the crank.. You will need long 1/4" extensions and IIRC a 10mm universal socket to get to a few bolts that can't be accessed by the steering components blocking straight on access. I had to cut a deep socket to mid length, to be able to remove a few bolts that have studs on them. You can get them off with a wrench, but torquing them is another story.

If you follow the service manual in terms of where to set the crank keyway and setting the index marks on each cam gear in the proper location, along with the setting the colored chain link on the correct tooth, it's foolproof.

If you haven't already, watch the videos on YouTube about doing the timing. The only difference is that all of them are for a steel oil pan, not a composite like you and I have.

You'll save a lot of money, that can be spent elsewhere. Best of luck to you, if you decide to do it yourself!!

Sorry Kong76, can't do it. I was able to do my install because I had vacation time to do it. At this point in my life, I like to do things slower and not rush things.
