I currently have a 2019 GT 350 R that I purchased last august. Bought it brand new. put 1900 miles on it last year and in April I had the oil changed to start the new season. I now have 2265 miles on it and I checked the oil yesterday and the oil level on the dipstick is showing between the 2 circles/holes. The engine does not seem to be showing any signs of losing oil, as there is no evidence of oil on the garage floor or under the mustang. The only thing I have noticed that is different from last year is since I had the oil changed this year, when I first start the mustang the PSI level is up around 100 to 125 PSI from the moment I start the car, last year it started lower and built up pressure. Temperatures seem fine. Just curious as to what level on the dipstick you guys are going by before adding oil ? I checked the dipstick both from a cold start and after driving for about 2 hours, and the oil level was the same. Thank You.

When it gets below the bottom hole add one quart. Then look to see where it’s at on the dipstick. Use that point as your full mark. Full level may not be at the top hole.

Did you take a note when in the deep stick the oil level was right after last oil change? If it was on the upper hole and you lost 1/2 quart of oil in 365 miles, it would get my attentions.

Check your tailpipes for carbon buildup. If you are getting a lot of carbon buildup the engine is burning oil even if no smoke seen, But if there is no carbon build up in tailpipes it probably ok, just check the dipstick and make sure you know where the full level is. They may not have filled to the top hash mark when your oil was changed. If your level stays within the 2 hash marks you are ok
