Unicorn Base "R" ?

Starting this thread in hopes of figuring out the extra parts that were installed in our 16' Base R. Maybe this is a one of or there could be others like it? Reaching out to the crowd here of what others have or seen of this particular model.

These pictures are of the trunk area. First you will note the underside of the deck lid has the carpet board installed (for lack of proper description). Second there is a similar product just in front of the spare tire well.
To my knowledge these items were to be part of the Base R delete package. Most likely an assembly line booboo. Anyways thought this worth a discussion on the forum. Thanks

Well in the mean time, I still don't have any fly killer, but I have the liner just aft of the seat delete. No lid liner.

Here are some pictures for the inside trunk/lid area for HR019 (RR) and JR157 (SB) and as you can see the underside of your deck lid is certainly different and unique for any Base R model that I have ever looked at over the last 5 years with both of my R models coming delete of any trunk lid liner.

I tried to locate trunk pictures for GR107 but could not locate any but suggest that all 3 cars would have been the same.

Also I noticed that Tom's post/picture for his 2018 Base R model shows some sort of liner material just behind the rear seat delete area and suggest that this liner was just to cover up some extensive weld work but certainly never came in any of my 3 Base R's.

Whatever the case you have something very unique to the way your Base R was produced and in my humble opinion I would just leave it alone as it is very unique to just your car and a cool conversation piece for upcoming years.
