I recently bought some vacuum line from oriellys for running to my procharger bypass valve and the only kind they had was very thin walled stuff. So far it seems to be fine but it has me wondering...
Has anyone had trouble with colapse on thin vacuum lines? I would imagine this would cause big trouble...

How things do you mean? Cant say I ever had a rubber vacuum hose collapse, any size from 1/8 to 3/8. Wall thickness didnt seem to be an issue.

That’s good to hear! It was just the Prestone 1/8” windshield washer/vacuum hose... so it was pretty thin walled and super flexible and I was just concerned that it could be too thin to be used for the bypass valve...

Just don’t use that Autozone silicone crap. As soon as it reaches 100°, it collapses with less than 10” of vacuum.

Just use a fuel line that has a thicker wall.

You should be able to find it at any auto parts store. It won’t be as flexible as regular vacuum line, but it will be more durable.
