Left the mustang alone for once and dragged Westfield out for its annual MOT.

Forgot how much fun it was to drive, tiring but fun.

This was the third attempt to get it to an MOT.
First time the wife was ill so had to cancel. Second time I pulled it out the garage only to find the front master cylinder had failed. Replaced with a Wilwood 5/8 and ready to go.

New badge arrived from the states. Had to pay the import duty though FFS.

Fitting it tomorrow.

Yup a simple badge cost adds up from the states, I paid nearly Ā£70 for my Grabber Blue Coyote Howler badge with shipping and import tax!

Thanks! It was from eBay, from a seller in the USA. It took about 2 weeks to arrive, and cost Ā£53 in total incl postage and import duty.

Took her out for a drive with the Yorkshire Supercar Owners Club, stops included Scarborough sea front for breakfast, Mathewsons Car auctions in Thornton Le Dale, through Heartbeat country Goathland and then on to the Motorist Hub in Sherburn in Elmet, around 150 miles in total was a great day!

Not very exciting but may be helpful to some in the UK. (Apologies if previously posted, I'm not about to look through 334 pages.)

This item ( https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-...275&pg=2045573&_trksid=p2045573.c100033.m2042 ) sorry, don't know how to shorten the link.

This item is a plug and play swap for the boot lock on a 2017 GT and gives you the cable emergency release that they have in the USA. At 43 quid brand new including p & p it's roughly half the price of secondhand items taken from Mustangs that also appear on ebay. At the very least it will fit 2015-2017MY Mustangs.

If the solenoid ever fails on your boot I think Ā£43 would be well worth the investment.

Finally sorted my Bola B18 wheels with decals, painted callipers (donā€™t look too close), valve covers (matching, natch) etc.

Ploughed a field in mine today !

Went to Retro Rides at Shesley Walsh Hill Climb which is always a great day out.

Not ideal for a lowered Mustang with a lower front chin spoiler and GT500 winglets fitted !

H-pipe fitted to otherwise completely standard set up today. Nice improvement, so far only driven with the roof down so will look forward to hearing how it sounds with the roof up!

Installed a Brake Master Cylinder Cover from Nemesis. It's a bit pricey for what it is - and the plastic is thin - but it does the job, and as Guy says, being the only one made for RHD cars, there's no economy of scale to make it cheaper. This is my 74th mod - I'll soon be done.

Pretty sure someone on Facebook was making them. No idea of the quality.
Looks good though.
