The C8 should crush the GT 350 in performance since it's coming out 4+ years later and it's a mid engine chassis but the fact that it's competitive in price is what is really impressive. Looks like a great car but no manual option so it's not for me. I'll take a GT 350 or C7 GS instead!

Why don't you buy one and join the Corvette forums then?
I'm going to go way out on a limb here and guess you weren't the validictorion of your class. I already own a vette and am a member of the Corvette forum. I also do plan to look at a C8 as well as the GT 500 for the next purchase. What I won't be looking at is a 350.

You sure picked the wrong limb to go out on, I can assure you of that. Also, I was unaware you had a 2020 C8. How is it?

What's also very funny is that a 17 year old Z06 can almost match the performance of a brand new 350 a 14 year old one can equal it and a 3 year old one can destroy it. And today you can buy a new one for about the same money as a 350 $69,591. Now tell me again how high it revs how good it sounds oh and the best one "their not even in the same class" sorry to say price says otherwise.:cwl::crackup:

Never said I had a 2020 C8. Still feeling pretty secure on that limb. Real secure actually. I see you purchased a 2019 350. I know ,I know, it revs to 8 grand ,sounds great and has a plastic snake on the grill. Like I said validictorion.

*Valedictorian

Also I did not purchase a 2019 GT350. I'm going to go out on a limb and guess you weren't the valedictorian.

Your correct on several occasions here, First I was not the valedictorian I was only the salutatorian and second not checking auto correct can make you look silly. Also purchasing a 17 makes a lot more sense than a 19.

You sound very insecure. Honestly, what is the significance of starting this thread? To make you feel more secure about the cars you own? Well, the GT350 is better than all of them.

The new Corvette probably won’t hurt Ford very much in terms of sales.

The real victim will be the Camaro. It's already on weak ground having fallen to #3 in sales behind the Challenger. Since the 2nd gen Camaro (1970), Chevy has always be able to cheaply upgrade the Camaro by merely stealing parts off the Corvette (a luxury the Mustang never had). With the Corvette now being an entirely different vehicle, & the current weak Camaro sales most likely denying it any real budget $$$ for serious performance upgrades, it's pretty much all over except for the autopsy.

The Corvette has always been an entirely different vehicle. The main parts that the Camaro borrowed were the engine and trans. I don't see how that would change now.

I am very content with my cars. The significance of the thread was simple to state the obvious. For the same or less money you can buy a lot more car than the 350 with a C8. This has nothing at all to do with the cars I own. Kinda of a silly statement when you really know nothing about my cars and what they can do. Several years ago I was dead on an operating table, was brought back and in a coma for 7 days. I now have a new perspective on life and I can assure you insecurity and fear are no longer something I suffer from.
