Isnt the 3.48 pulley pretty much the most youd want to push the Paxton unit without overspinning it?

It is if you are running the self contained. If you have the HD oil fed you can go smaller. With the 3.48 it is over spinning it aroud 7600 or so.Isnt the 3.48 pulley pretty much the most youd want to push the Paxton unit without overspinning it?
You want the set up I now have. I have a 13 BOSS with the Paxton H.O. kit. 8 rib set up, which I recommend, and a 3.47 pulley. BAP with ID 1000 injectors. I run 12 psi in hot weather and sometimes she will creep a little higher in the cold weather. I run 93 with torco. Car has dynoed 772 RWHP with MS 100 octane gas for safety. I was under the understanding that the H.O had a better bearing than the regular 2200. Maybe not. Anyhow. Works really well. I also changed the rear gears to 3.31 instead of 3.73. Makes the power more useable. Ran 188 in the standing mile with a huge headwind. With my previous 3.73 gearing, (and plugged catalytic converters) I ran 172. Just wasn't pulling the tall gearing.
Runs pretty cool. I have videos of my mile run and can send you if you want.A lot of good info in here. Thank you for the reply. I believe I will opt for the HD oil fed or JT trim.
How are the IAT's on long pulls?
7500. Varies with weather. Kooks non catted with 3 inch exhaust also. What RPM are you seeing 12PSI at? That seems a bit low for that pulley and 8rib. I am running 3.48 6 rib on my paxton 2200 and see around 14-15PSI at 7500.
