Any reason you want to use 19" wheels over 18" for track use? The majority of our customers prefer 18" as it's lighter and a few bucks cheaper. 19" works very well too. What width and tires do you plan to use? We have a LOT of people out on track putting our EC-7's through hell with great results.

The EC-7 is very strong, offers exception brake clearance, a wide range of sizing from 9.5" up to 11", and is currently on sale! Click on this link to check out the deals we're running on them right now: https://www.apexraceparts.com/shop-by-vehicle/ford/s550-mustang.html

I am also going to link our fitment guide for the S550 chassis that walks you through a lot of popular setups for street or track use: https://support.apexraceparts.com/h...5483093-S550-Mustang-Wheel-Tire-Fitment-Guide

Feel free to reach out if anything was unclear or if you have any more questions!

Apex are great wheels, so if they're in the budget, go for it.

For me, I've honestly been very happy with my SVE Drift, 19x9.5 all around. The offset is just right and it's enough wheel to have good grip. 275/35R19 tires are pretty much perfect on these wheels, although depending on the tire, 285/35R19 is a great fit too. For something like the RE71Rs that I use mainly for autocross, 275/35R19 is a better fit. I was in grid next to a fellow CAMC competitor with the same wheels and same tires but with 285/35 and they had some noticeable buldge, where as my sidewalls have a hint of stretch (but basically straight up and down), which is good for handling.

EC-7 in Black: https://www.apexraceparts.com/shop-...stang/19x10-et40-apex-ec-7-mustang-wheel.html

SM-10 in Black: https://www.apexraceparts.com/shop-...tang/19x10-et40-apex-sm-10-mustang-wheel.html

I would go with a 275/35 over a 275/40, but a 285/35-19 also fits well on these wheels too. The shorter sidewall will provide better feedback in the corners.

SVE GT350, either in 19x10 square or 19x10/19x11 staggered or 19x11 square depending on how crazy you want to get.

They are pretty light for the size (the 19x11 wheels are lighter than the 19x9.5 OEM PP wheels) and can be had for ~$700 new if you wait for a deal and/or use a coupon.

The APEX wheels are nice for sure, but at $400 a pop but they are twice the cost which can buy you a whole nother set of tires.

Ok, that MRR deal has peaked my interest.
Are they strong enough for DE days?
