Time for a floorjack upgrade

The only concern for this jack is the minimum lift height. With our cars as it is it's fine, but might start to be tight if you are going with the lowering springs.

It barely fits under the Focus RS. Ah well, a good excuse to buy another jack!

The one I use the most, as well as other car guys I know that have to buy their own equipment, is the HB low profile jack. It fits under every car I have - I have some low cars. A hockey puck works great to protect the underside of the car jacking points. Also, for the S550, you might want to purchase the specific jacking pads that fit on the jacking points

Am I the only one who recalls some unknown brand of floorjack which had synthetic casters? Not a deal breaker but it would be nice to roll even smoother than alloy casters allow.

I just ordered the Arcan from Costco. Looks hard to beat at $99. I am in the market for a set of jack stands if anyone has any recommendations, there is a ton of options out there.

At the time they were selling for $36 with free shipping, but it looks like the price has gone up.

At 2.75" it should be low enough for my car even if I decide to add jacking rails and lowering springs.
