The R production will be halted but unless they changed from last year regular GT350s with Michelin Pilot Super Sports will continue. The MPSS tires suck in cold but will not crack until a much lower temperature compared to a R compound MPSC2 tire. My track pack 350 was built in mid January 2016 and delivered early February. As for elemental exposure, thats unavoidable

The word is that it did change to include both the GT350s this year and the GT350Rs as with last year.

There's exposure and then there's prolonged unnecessary exposure.

Ive seen images of a lot of Shelbys sitting out in the snow. My own AG sat in the snow last year, When I got her you could see rust oxidization in the rotors ( common and not a big deal)

Why tear up if not a bid deal to you?

Like I said before. I live right near flat rock plant and last year when I went on my recon mission I've seen plenty of R's with carbon wheels and psc2 wheels sitting outside in the cold snow.

All that I can think about is the word tainted. The experience has been tainted for so many of us for so many reasons. A shame really for what is supposed to be a flagship car.

Each one of those that are certain their cars have been produced and are awaiting shipment... should call/contact FordPerformance and inquire if there is an option to seek delivery by (any) alternate means (private carrier, etc.), even if that means an additional charge.

Thankfully, mine made it to the dealer this past Friday, but I truly feel for you guys.

Please let us know what happens...

From another thread, I know my car was built the same day as NHMatts car and both cars were headed east Matts to New Hampshire and mine to Connecticut. My car did not get the on the train for some reason and his did. Congrats Matt enjoy.
My question is why leave my car behind to sit for the winter?
WTF?

I have the exact experience as well. My car was completed on 11/04. Another member's car was completed on 11/09. Both cars are headed to dealerships 15 miles apart. His shipped within 2 days on 11/11 and delivery could have already occurred or, any day now. How am I supposed to feel about that?

My car was built on 10/26 and has been awaiting shipment ever since.
I was told by Ford Performance that if the car has not shipped by today it would not ship until mid March.
I know there was a train that left Flat Rock about 8 days ago headed east and my car was not on it. My delivery date is 12/7, I'm not real confident that will happen.
I just got off of the phone with Trent from Ford Performance. They are putting out mixed messages. He would not concede that the cars not on a train by 11/18/16 would have to wait until mid-March to ship. He steadfastly read his computer screen and towed the company line stating that mine will be delivered between 12/07/16 - 12/13/16.

It kind of seems like it is all just control of the supply vs demand.

If it was a priority to Ford, I am sure they could produce these cars faster and ship them in a timely manner.

I wouldn't expect Ford to chime in anytime soon with any good news.

Yea Ford!
