17/03What was your build date?
Bonus. Mine was same day built so hopefully same status.17/03
Yeah, it'd be tight to turn it around in 1 month... You're looking at 10 weeks or so ONCE it's got to Baltimore, and that's assuming you meet every 2016 average i have on my spreadsheet (4 weeks (on the dot) in baltimore, 2weeks travelling 9.3 days in Zeebrugge and ~7days in southampton with another ~7 days to pickup)@Manders Mustang
I hope so too! I'm not holding my breath anytime soon though
Of course you will! Ive managed to wriggle out of everything so I can attend the meets! Haven't missed one yet
Did you see the videos or something?
Do you know when your WWL Track and Trace status updated to 'Delivered From'?.Just got a call from my dealer to say mines at Southampton too
Mine has said "Delivered from Zeebrugge" since 17/3 (although I think on 16th it came up with 16/3 and the date then changed. It still says that (so no mention of Southampton). Apparently the boat arrived Saturday morningDo you know when your WWL Track and Trace status updated to 'Delivered From'?.
I've had zero communication from Ford since 10th March, but if they've stuck to their word it should be in Southampton about now. My Dealer is on leave, so I can't even try that!
Is there no one else you can ask at your dealership?I'm now of the impression that the 'Delivered From' status roughly equates to 'We've washed our hands of' from WWL. After that, it's anyones guess. My car will probably feature as a 'Barn Find' on one of those resto programmes in about 40yrs time when someone finds it in a corner of the docks at Zeebrugge
My 'delivered from' date was about a week ahead of the actual arrival in Southampton which either means overenthusiasm by WWL or, more likely, slow booking in to Southampton. It had a week there before a transporter load was built and it left. Depending on who you believe it is either now at the dealer or arriving soon. Anyway, I have a date for pickup. 364 days after deposit, so, bang on time. I need a lie down :faint:I'll just wait 'til he's back later in the week. I'm not emailing [email protected] again, two emails have gone without response, I'll see what dealer says first. If I phone dealership and ask to speak to someone RE: my order, I'll just be told that the Mustang specialist is on leave and to try when he's back. And to be honest if Vista hasn't updated (which it won't have) no one else there will know how to check the order. Out of interest, my dealers claim is that once the car is at Southampton, it will be brought up 'straight away' and they only need a couple of hours to PDI it before I can get my hands on it. Right.
That explains why my dealer is adamant my car will come by the end of the month, regardless of me telling him the likelihood is slim (Docks 24th, off ship 25th, doubt they can turn it round from Zeebrugge to Bham and PDI + arrange pickup with me by then)....one more thing to add. Its nearly the end of March - ie end of sales quarter. I imagine there will be a lot of dealerships out there who are very keen to get revenue in before Thursday 31st.....
I think it'll be a good time to start pressing.
