Not correct. Oily crankcase vapors get pulled into the intake tract by engine vacuum and are combusted in the cylinders. The catch can filters a good deal of the oil out of these crankcase vapors to minimize oil ingestion.

Question is: Why did Ford change them after 2016 to the less attractive "Ford Performance" version? I've always thought Ford wanted to segregate the original production GT350 from the rest.
I've had the same issue from time to time, where it just resets on its own. I don't know why. It's become SOP that I check it when I start the car. Last year or three, it's been pretty good, with minimal resets.
The instructors were correct. If the intention is to get the maximum tractive force to the ground, always keep the 350 in the lower gear up to redline. Shifting to the next gear always reduces acceleration in a GT350.

When I did my floor with plastic tile, I used 2 layers of heavy landscape fabric as a buffer between the concrete and tile. It makes for a softer and quieter installation.
I recently noticed a front wheel is rubbing when turned close to lock. In my case, I just had my corroded fenders replaced, so I think it is the wheel well liner not properly installed.
