90% of it is toe.
10% of it is that the GT350 can't push the front tires in normal use in cornering, but its still all too easy to load them hard in braking. So you get very little cornering wear, or atleast I hope you do when on the public roads.
Oh and supersports have a softer compound at...
I think camber plate design was more for ensuring that the camber settings would remain fixed during a race, and that changes are ensured to be correct. This way if they want to put in a bit more camber, there is no guessing on the change as the shim ensures the correct placement of the strut...
Thats... not an X pipe, thats a H pipe without any length to the little crossover pipe. I'd like to see some testing they did to show that mess is better than no crossover at all.
thats the shorter tires resulting in shorter gearing.
As for the gap, it definitely does something, look closely at the GT350 that blew an oil line on track and was blowing flames out the wheel well. You can see exactly what it does in one of the stills. I'm sure the difference in drag is...
Theory:
You are running the AC, causing the fan to run full time. This is delaying warm up despite the high temps.
Facts supporting: until you get the oil hot (200F+) the oil pressure on these things is quite high. It has cooling to deal with 526hp in dead of summer in the desert temps.
There are aftermarket mufflers with the valves if you want to swap the mufflers.
The other thing you could do is stick on some resonators in the cat back. I'd suggest using a longer or shorter unit than the muffler to help ensure it resonates at a different rpm than the current setup.
Its so much cleaner looking without them.
I like how subtle some of the things are compared to the rest of the car. The small snake badges are just one of them. Lets the lines of the whole car do the talking instead of some oversized badges.
If your building a track toy, maybe start with a 2016 Base? Cheaper buy price lets you pay for your custom trans and diff cooling solutions (if needed). Electric transmission pump vs mechanical means more power to the ground too even if its a small difference.
The spring is in there to keep the clutch, transmission, rear diff, and/or rear axles from exploding when someone side steps the clutch. Other car makers put a restriction in the hydraulic clutch line for the same effect.
I'm not a fan of the wonky non-linear pedal, but its better than...
GS mandated 18", haven't checked gt4 rules. Regardless, they are much lighter cars with smaller braking systems, making 18" wheels possible.
You might be able to run 18 on the stock brakes if you used a rally style rim that maximises caliper clearance, but I fail to see the point as the...
All GT350 had the engine oil cooler. In fact the only place I've seen evidence for the driver side cooler blocking plate is press photos of a GT350 with the blocking plates on both sides. But I know the base model has the oil cooler as I own a 2016 base with it, and had the oil cooler line...
last I checked the regular splitter was $280 without looking hard for discounts.
So for a daily driver thats a pretty solid savings on a wear item. Yet its largely down to how much you care that the car is perfect (car shows, resale) vs the convenience of just using the R splitter.
Most of the time this means "comparably equipped" Its one of the problems they had with the F150 when magazines testing the new aluminum ones whined about it not being much lighter.... when they were comparing a loaded platinum vs the old high end lariat/king ranch. Pretty night and day...
