The DTC's are fixed by doing a crank relearn. If you have an NGauge or SCT X4 you can do the crank relearn pretty easily. Just search it up on YouTube and Jon Nardi from Lund Racing has a pretty informative video on how to do it.
As for the shudder, it's pretty common on these twin disk rigid...
I'm about 99% sure that all the long tube headers are equal length.
If you meant shorty headers, then again, I think most of the available brands are still equal length too.
I think the general public know that VMP really only put their name on the case. Its just an Eaton or Magnusson rotor pack.
I think they really made a mistake trying to patent a port job. This whole MFP drama is a bit stupid too because you could just come out and say "MFP wanted too much, and...
VMP's Odin kit is literally a harrop blower rip off too. They're falling apart everywhere from trying to patent "porting" on blowers and manifolds and now this whole MFP mess.
I used to be tuned by them but they couldn't even be bothered to look at a data log I sent them.
Firehawks are great, but you're on the wrong tire for what you want to do. You'll want more sidewall and a slick if you have a manual, if you're driving an auto just get some radials that can at least take some of the torque on launch.
Most people with transmission issues are in a minority group around 1 to 2% affected. This lawsuit will go nowhere, it's just lawyers looking to get a big payday.
The updated MT- 82's had the shift fork concerns but that was addressed with the revised shift forks. I'm sure everyone would want...
I don't think that class action will go anywhere. There's not enough cases for it and the only people that had a problem are the most vocal. Unfortunately with manual transmissions, the manufacturer can put it on user error most of the time.
I've had both on the track, the main difference will be lateral grip and feel. The Firestone's almost feel like they're squishing over during hard corners and mid corner bumps. The PS4S's are solid as a rock, no lean at all.
