I just don't trust pump gas under boost with 12:1 compression...this is more of a Valet fuel or a fuel I'd run when I take the across state lines and I run out of Boostane ..I'd never run pump alone while stuffing my foot into the right pedal
Sooo... 😂
The dealer called after I dropped it off and said it was a clearance issue. My immediate response was, "No fuggin' way..." 😂 I asked, "Is the car still on the lift? Mind if I come see?"
Drove over, crawled underneath, and sure enough... they were right. From the top it looked like...
I was going to use the cool weather driving experience in our cars to e85 but I feel a e85 tune is a bit better but the Proflex gizmo is only a tic better than driving in 40 degree weather vs 90 degree
I've seen the before-and-after weights on three different cars, and every one of them gained 150ish lbs. And don't forget, that's not just the blower—it's the intercooler, heat exchanger, coolant(8lbs per gallon), brackets, plumbing, etc. More importantly, most of that weight is hanging right...
Heck no 40-50rwhp lol idk where they got those numbers but I would say it peaks about 15rwhp over 93oct but it is more noticeable around the torque peak rpm... again its not a huge difference but its noticeable esp with 91oct or crappy fuels. If you were to do headers with cats with no...
The more I drive it, the more I'm convinced this has something to do with the EPAS.
Here's where it gets interesting...
If I set the steering to Comfort, the vibration/buzz is much slower and less aggressive. Switch it over to Sport, and the frequency increases noticeably. It also scales with...
I run the Proflex gizmo and love it to say the least so in the event you run e85 and get a tune for it that would absolutely be felt by the ol' butt dyno
She is going to the shop in the am...I might just be that but what is odd is how intermittent has become but it is always in the same spot and the faster I go the faster the vibration is...I hope its just interference and not an electrical component
I really really really like the sound … to my surprise the rasp is no where near as bad as I expected and to be honest there really isn’t any super happy about that to say the least .
Here is a quick vid , it’s very faint since I am driving slow but as speed is increased the feeling in the steering wheel and the sound is far more pronounced, it sounds like it’s coming from the base of the steering stalk just under the dash . Towards the end of the vid you can hear it a bit...
I'm not sure if the lowered the subframe but I spoke to them already and Monday it goes back. The vibration/feeling/sound isnt that of a wheel being out balance its a more deliberate one and it feels like its coming from the electric gizmo that creates the weighted feel of the steering and as...
Ehhhh dont think so , when the car is at idle and i turn the steering wheel the vibration is slow but it I turn the wheel at 20mph the vibration is a high frequency, 40mph higher,etc.... I'm confident it has something to do with artificial weighted steering function
and 150lb onto the nose..ESS 42lbs. If racing and all things equal and on pump gas while running the A10 I put money the ESS car is faster ...not by much . Depends on the race too.. A dig race will favor the Whip car if there is traction ,a roll where the cars are starting in their powerband say...
