In a bit of a pickle with this - car failed it's MOT late December because handbrake isn't working efficiently enough. The lever that actuates it on the caliper has seized and a new one will have to come from USA and won't be here 'til Feb. Looking for a OSR caliper for a 2016 GT to get be back...
I agree. Haven't quite lost faith, just that I know that when I do sell it on and it drives off into the sunset I won't be giving it a backwards glance. An itch that has been scratched I'd say.
That said, I'll get to 100k miles first
Last week, I
Monday, watched a fiesta sit on the drive (as it had for the previous 2 weeks)
Tuesday, picked up the GT from Bristol Street Ford having had to have a new air con compressor (seized) and a rocker cover oil leak (apparently a service bulletin) fixed at a 60% discounted cost...
Monday, watched it sit on the drive
Tuesday, watched it sit on the drive
Wednesday, watched it sit on the drive
Thursday, watched it sit on the drive
Friday, watched it sit on the drive
Saturday, went food shopping! Yay!
Sunday, watched it sit on the drive
Ask me what I did to it last week
I'm with LV, same happened to me but was approved in a couple of days and fitted with no probs. Genuine screen with ford logo and "soundscreen" logo. Should be fine
My light usually (Annoyingly ) comes on at around 9300 miles. I reset the message and crack on to 10000-ish then get it serviced. Seems ok so far. Admittedly I do a fair amount of long trips so it does stretch it's legs a lot. We'll see, I'm happy to be the guinea pig, 67000 miles now.
So far...
I second that - Mine is magnetic and used this stuff for a couple of years - peppered with stone chips (>60k miles) but you can't see most of them where I had the patience to follow the instructions !
