I checked for any oil drips from new OEM drain plug I used when I changed the oil last week and replaced the old leaky original drain plug. No drips after 1 week! The rubber seal on the old one had seen better days but I guess 11 years of oil changes will do that.

It's been a few years but I believe I was able to find the specs on the original MRT struts. That's how I got the correct length and weight.
