Braving the Southeast Texas heat, I installed the FORM smoked tails I ordered a few days ago. Wow, dirty back there! Much better! Old and new: All done! I think they go well with the CF trunk panel. I actually was able to get pretty good alignment by adjusting the mounting screws.

I ordered Form Lighting smoked tails today from Summit Racing. I got them on sale for $424.15 and free ground shipping. With sales tax, the total was $459.14.

Washed it (before the Texas heat set in).

I bought those last year to replace the ones I've lost. They work just fine.

I am mulling over getting the Roush heat extractors but I don't want to leave the in the unpainted, flat black. Has anyone had them painted and if so, how did they turn out?

This might be a long shot but have you tried putting your rear seats down to see if that helps? The latches can somtimes start rattling. It's worth a try just to rule it out.

This is interesting as I'm considering the FORM smoked tails. I was curious if there is a minimum DOT brightness requirement from the government but there isn't one that I could find. That actually suprised me as they want to regulate everything else.

Oh I know the reason why. I just hate that I live where I have to deal with it.

Took it in for the annual emissions test so I can renew the registration. It sucks that I'm in one of the few counties in Texas where the EPA mandates emission testing.
