Price drop to 26,500. This is just below the middle of KBB private party value. The car is pristine with over $5000 in upgrades that do not affect daily driveability at all. That was a major factor in my mods since I used it as a daily driver for a lengthy daily commute. I don't have to sell it...

What he said. It happens on almost every car I've driven since the early 2000s. Tilting the nozzle while you're filling the car allows air to escape while pumping and limit the splash back that will cut off the flow. I do this by habit now on every car I drive and when topping off.
Another possibility if you start the car and it is still hiding in the engine bay is that it dies there and you can't get it out. Then your car will smell horrible for a while. The mothball idea is good. It will probably leave at nightfall to go foraging for food.

The difference in parts compared to original PP suspension are: Shocks, struts, springs, front sway bar, rear stabilizer bar, toe knuckle bearings. The toe links are the same as the PP.
I did all my suspension modifications at the same time, so I can't comment on the Ford track package alone...
The Ford kit includes all you need for an alignment within Ford specs. It is meant to run more camber than the base coupe suspension. If you want to run the alignment specs that your car came with, you may need camber plates/bolts. If you wish to run the track suspension within the specs Ford...
