I'm running the phase 2, Roush tune. I don't have any issues at all, other than a small backfire when letting off the gas while costing up to a red light. air fuel goes to 10.5 and then back up to 14. gets a little rich. runs great on the street with plenty of power when needed, if you can hook...
I installed this weekend and yes i do feel a difference, especially since i had to cut my upper brace, due to the supercharger. very much needed and now the car tracks straight once again. the tabs were painless to take off with needle nose pliers. oh, I had to grind a little off the spacer on...
I appreciate the feedback. I have put the stock tires and rims back on. I will not ever drive on this tire and also may not go back with this tire and size again. I just can't figure out what caused this. I know there was some wear on the tire side, but not enough to make it separate like it...
I had my car realigned today. it was a little off on the front toe and some on the rear. the car drives better for sure. I initially said 20,000 miles on the tires, but I believe more like 14,000. we'll see as time goes. I won't put new tires on the 20" rims until the summer and i'll check the...
Right on Nightmare moon. I put the bad tire on today to see what it could be rubbing on and also I see no signs of rubbing anywhere. no marks at all.... this is a relief, but will watch my tires closely from now on. i'm glad i pulled it when i did or else.... ugh!
I really appreciate everyone's help! I'm waiting on a Steeda Extreme G-Trac K-Member Brace and after the install, I'll get the car aligned and go from there. I'm leaning towards a tire defect, because of the smooth seam like grove around the tire.:headbonk::headbonk::headbonk:
I know it does seem odd. I verified it is the 8.5 front rims with +32mm offset and 6" backspacing. I have 10" in the rear with 305's no problem. the cut around the rim is very clean almost like the tire came apart from a seam. I have more pic's I'll post after I resize them. this is why I am...
I haven't had it aliened yet, but will soon. I have the stock tires and wheels on now and they seem to track pretty good. Nonetheless, It does seem, I'll have to push the offset out at least an inch, which I'm not a fan. I was trying to avoid messing with the geometry of the suspension, thus...
I have 20 x 10 in the rear and 20 x 8.5 fronts. I felt i was safe with the rubbing, but apparently not. it only rubbed on the driver side, but cut an 1/2 grove around the tire. i'll retake the pic's at a lower resolution, so i can post.
I have a 2016 Roush Phase 2 with some supporting must have mods. It drives stock until you want to unleash the animal. I have considered trading and getting a truck, but enjoy the car so much. I just haven't pulled the change. plus, the dealer will not give you what it's worth. i'm getting up in...
