agreed logging lambda makes it a whole lot easier. Also check your ethanol content if you can.
Also as you switch fuels you have to give the ECU some time to adjust fuel trims. I noticed this during my tuning.
Oh I thought you both were auto. Yes, than the 26.7" tire would be more ideal giving you higher final drive. With a 7800 redline you should be able to hit 126 in 4th.
they probably just rounded it off to 27. I always thought for automatics 3.31 was the sweet spot for the NA cars but maybe I'm wrong. I know my buddy was running 10s on his NA s197 with auto 3.31. Not sure what tire it was.
305/45/17 drag radial is 28"
275/40/17 drag radial is 26"
325/40/19 tires he has on the car now is 26.7"
I don't know of a 19" track only tire other than what he has already if thats what you are asking. I know Micky Thompson has some streetable tires in that range not sure of the sizes. 17" or...
28" usually is a slick or Bias Ply. I think if you have an auto you want to go with a 17 drag radial. Probably something like a 275/40/17 which translates to a 26" tire. I don't know what the difference of 28"vs 26" is on the automatic. I know with the manual the increased gearing of the smaller...
also something to consider is a 325/30/19 is a 26.7" diameter tire which will probably raise your final drive compared to a typical 28" setup. Not sure if that will hurt/help with an automatic.
Ill take a boss manifold with some proper VCT tuning over a GT350 intake manifold. The GT350 intake manifold actually loses power in the lower RPM range. Plenty of dyno charts of this on here. Just have to look.
That makes sense. It seems these CAMs really shine with the CJ intake manifold. Probably going to see little gains on a car with the stock intake manifold. VCT tuning also is huge. I saw 15WHP on my stock GT with just VCT adjustments.
