What AR ratio exhaust? Did the wheel touch off at all on the housing? The last pic where the impeller sits in the housing looks a little rough like it may have. Any change of getting a pic of the wheel with the cover off?
Is the stud kit price a typo? Not trying to give you a hard time but its $30 more than buying direct unless I'm missing something? If a typo shoot me the correct price as I'm interested
Yeah, I totally understand, especially on larger and big ticket items. I have been on the receiving side of getting burned a couple times and typically do the same thing as you, cash in hand and carry it away
@19BULLITTwhipple it looks like you did it the proper way by taking water from one side of the cooling system and returning to the other thus creating a pressure differential to make it all work as intended
I mean it depends on how deep into there rabbit hole you wanted too go but you can log inlet and outlet temps of the WG's to see what your temp delta's/ differential are, that would truly tell the whole story.
For the amount of, time, energy and money you are going to spend to run coolant thru...
@NGOT8R , sure the 4an lines are smaller than the larger ones in the block but if you are using 4an to feed & return they are the same size. It's just simple hydraulics, there has to be a pressure differential for it to force the water in to have enough pressure to force it back into the block...
Is there any sort of restrictor in the middle of that block? If not, I'm not sure how there is enough pressure differential to actually feed and return thru the same block. There typically has to be a restriction of some sort in between them to "force" the water to the WG's and any other...
Yuck, I only use BMRS stuff, occasionally XRP, quality is much better than most other brands.
So next question is, where are you returning all of those feeds back to? Are you using a second block then connecting it to the rad or some other port?
