  1. Vibration between 50 & 70 mph

Update: Tested over the weekend. No more vibrations. I hope it stays that way, and I wish you all the same success.
  2. Manual Trans. Thud when shifting

I occasionally carpool with a colleague of mine and he drives a BMW Z4 with stick shift. I often hear a similar thud in that car too. It mostly happens during low gear shifts (1 to 2 and 2 to 3).
  3. Vibration between 50 & 70 mph

Update: drive shaft replaced (today), run out checked and balanced. Technician test drove and thought it felt much better now, however wanted my opinion. I checked it out at different speeds on my way home. I think he is right. I barely felt the vibes between 50-70mph. I will be testing further...
  4. Vibration between 50 & 70 mph

Hi Ed.... Pray you will have the courage and patience to endure the 4 or 5 steps Ford will make you go through before it gets finally fixed (hopefully)! Stay strong!
  5. Vibration between 50 & 70 mph

Well...I don't intend giving up that easy. The company has accepted the defect and there is no turning back. As long as I feel the vibrations and the vibration meter evidences it, it will continue to be a defect and I will go all the way until I get a replacement car. The dealership has been...
  6. Vibration between 50 & 70 mph

Quick update: Tires were replaced by dealer (2016 Ecoboost/MT). Vibration still exists. Went back to dealer and complained. They ran a few tests with the vibration meter and concluded the drive shaft needs to be changed....(duh!). DS to be replaced in a day or two. Anyone wants to guess what...
  7. Vibration between 50 & 70 mph

I think most, if not all, new Mustangs have the vibration issue. But most owners either don't feel the vibration at all (are less sensitive to such imperfections) or are aware of it, but don't think it's an issue worth reporting. So we obviously seem to be a minority from Ford's perspective. :)
  8. Vibration between 50 & 70 mph

Update: Based on the results provided by the dealership, Ford believes the vibration is caused by faulty tire construction and have recommended replacement of all four tires as a first step. I hope it works. If not at least I will have a brand new set of tires. :)
  9. Vibration between 50 & 70 mph

Having endured over 1100kms of vibration, I visited the dealership today to discuss the issues. My first hurdle was to convince the technician that a vibration did exist and it was not my imagination. So I drove around with the technician in the car and demonstrated how and when the vibration...
  10. vibration and buzzing from clutch pedal assembly when clutching in always in gear!

I own a 2016 Ecoboost Premium and have been having the clutch vibration from day one. No matter how softly you handle the clutch, the car takes off with a jerky vibration. It's quite irritating. It's similar to a vibration with weak struts. Reading some of the posts, it could most probably be...
  11. First Oil Change?

I have been following this thread closely since I bought my Mustang in Nov. Conflicting theories over the break-in service has had me totally confused, so I decided have a chat with my dealership to clear this once and for all. I was assigned a technician (I had a vibration issue to be checked...
  12. Vibration between 50 & 70 mph

I have a 2016 Ecoboost Pemium M/T with just under 500 miles (800 kms) on it. A vibration begins mostly on 5th and 6th gears (between 60-80mph) and is mostly felt along the floor board. Hence I am suspecting its the drive shaft issue discused in this thread. I am about to take it up with the...
  13. Introduce yourself!!

Hi Everyone, Harry from Vancouver, Canada checking in. Just picked up a 2016 Ecoboost Premium..my first Mustang and a bucket list item as well. :) Love the forum and the wealth of knowledge being shared. It helped me quite a bit when deciding on the model and options to purchase. Thanks.
  14. Manual Trans. Thud when shifting

Hi, I am new to the forum. Day 3 (300kms) with my 2016 Ecoboost Premium M/T and the 'thud' was one of the first thing I noticed when driving out of the dealership (unfortunately I test drove only automatics). The thud usually happens when I take off on 1st gear from a complete stop or after...
