That sounds like a good plan, since the Mustang is all new, and I would expect the handling to be greatly improved with the IRS. The current Mustang GT powertrain is a lot of fun with the Coyote engine, so I would expect that to be the same.

Have you driven a Corvette? I don't know what the next gen Mustang will drive like, but driving a Corvette is a whole different ball game compared to a current Mustang. The C6 is lower, has wishbone suspension in front, has better weight distribution, and just feels way more sporty.

I drove one for a week, and it handled every bit as well as any BMW 3 series I have driven, if not better. Then ATS engine on the other hand... Fortunately, the Camaros will get better engines.
Ford will have some competition, no doubt.

Unfortunately, the tuning in those mufflers is unlikely to work in the 2015's. Different pipe lengths require different internal resonator components to tune out undesirable frequencies.
