  1. Can we consider the Mach 1 a Shelby GT350 with an automatic transmission?

    I have had 3,4,5 and 6 speeds for years, well over 200K miles of shifting. I went with the 10R80 because I didn't want a car that was 1/2 second slower in the 1/4 mile. Lee

    My splitter is about 3.5 feet from the ground hanging on the shop wall. I removed it the first day . It was just under 5 in. from the road. The problem it is so far forward of the front wheels. Lee

    Installed today. RedLine hood struts, J&T oil separator + a bracket that I made, and a Ford Performance blue air filter. All together at least 40 HP rear wheel. Lee

    The non HP Mach1 is a fine street car. My HP with 315/30/19 & 305/30/19 4S tires and a good alignment is also great street car. Lee

    I think the oil filter adaptor from the GT 350 is to provide a place for oil cooler lines to connect. Lee.
  15. Are my nuts too tight?

    I use a 1/2 in breaker bar 24 in long as I am about 300 LB, I only use one leg to stand on the bar. I do use the star pattern. I use lard to lube the bolts, dogs lick my wheels instead of pissing on them. Torque to 150 and check in 100 miles. Don't over think it. It's a lug nut. Lee
