I ran into the same issue on their website compared to other venders. I tried several part numbers and got some saying it fits and others saying it doesn't. Not a very good way of doing business so I am going to pass on this brand and go with a Vengeance stage 1.

Ahh fk that sucks. Ok ill buy directly from Exedy and buy an OEM flywheel through Ford. Tempted to just go the exedy flywheel and then ill know it matches. Deal with the learning curve on driving.

Did you ever figure this out? I was going to go the same route.

I am leaning the same direction with the 500 and oem flywheel. For two reasons, keep the enertia for higher rpm shifts and not having to recalibrate the sensor due to the lightweight exedy flywheel. Did you experience that?

It will come back every time unless you A. Put in half a bottle of ceratec after every change or B. Put atleast 2000 miles on after oil change. Just the way it is.

No, I haven't gotten the chance to take it in but i did find on a F150 forum someone with an almost identical issue and the ended up replacing their maf sensor and that helped. Might try that first. I dont see how it could be injectors because it doesnt happen at idle revving nor a slow rev...

So i tried the shifter and mine doesn't rattle like yours Lonnie. I will be taking it to a shop shortly to trouble shoot.

Yea i have the bbq tick but it goes away with ceratec been doing that after oil changes for years. I can reproduce that at idle with slight throttle.

I just had the car checked for exhaust leaks and mentioned the flex joint and they said it was good. I do have a leak but he said he doubts thats where the rattle is coming from. Im hoping its not the timing chain tensioner. Seems to happen at peak torque 3.5 to 4k. I took a rubber mallet...

This is good to know its not detonation or pinging, im sure your tuner looked for that. I was curious about that as well. But i had the Ford Performancr power pack 2 kit years back and took it off due to detonation. Sounds different than that.

I also took off the sound tube but mines plugged. I wonder if it could be the clutch springs rattling? I was under car and checked everything. Couple missing plastic shield guard fastners but no luck.

I have a 16.. mine seems to be coming from outside driver side engine area i think. I taped my phone under the hood to get audio but its hard to tell

I just added a bottle of redline s1-1 fuel system cleaner so maybe that will help. If not prob time to replace the injectors. Thank you for your help. Im hoping its not serious.
