Just got "Camera not available" for the first time today. Out of factory warranty, so going to need to trace down the harness and find the damage. Glad to find some useful information on this issue. Hoping I can get it fixed before the trunk release cables get damaged.

Yes, you can play mp3 files directly off a USB flash drive formatted in fat32. Will work on all of the Sync versions. Sync can also control it with voice commands after it indexes.

This is correct. I had to take a metal file and shave away a bunch of plastic. Would not recommend getting this brand.

Update for anyone checking this thread out in future... Went to test today at the gas station and didn't seal easily or completely, and was losing PSI doing so. Going to toss this unit away and get a better kit to keep in my trunk that actually works.
