Just like not saying what causes the voodoo to blow and use excessive amounts of oil I'm sure they're waiting till the last production year powertrain warranties run out and then it will be leaked out the real reason the flat plane crank didn't work out.

I had two GT 350's a 16 and then 17. Like a fool I left the entire kit with the 16 in the trunk hoping the next person buying the car would have it. Found out later that car went to an auction. Ain't no way that kit was still with the car when it sold, wish I'd kept it. The 17 I have all the kit...

No they didn't do a recall just changed to canister in 2018. If you oil the gasket and torque it on to specs written right on top of the filter it ain't gonna come loose.

My 17 had a spin on thought they changed them in 18.

They can now a days find you had a tune even if you remove it. And yes they can void the entire vehicle warranty not just the engine. And if you fight it you better have better paid lawyers than Ford has in order to win and that's gonna cost ya.

When I had my 16 and then 17 Shelby GT 350 thats the exact one I used on them every winter. I hard wired them to the battery so all I had to do was unplug the pigtail when not using and leave pigtail connected to battery. Only difference was mine was the rectangular metal box they sold back...

Agree dealerships are a real hassle you have to do your homework before you go look at new vehicles. But there's no way I'm gonna buy a vehicle without actually seeing it in person and thoroughly inspecting it inside and out. Even when I've ordered brand new ones at dealerships I completely go...

When I had my 16 and then 17 Shelby I always used Battery Tender they worked well for me in cold winter. And I had the 5 amp.

Gotta love it asking for posts on a Ford forum about a GM vehicle. There will be endless negative posts. Guess I'll go over to my GM forum and ask about the Ford GT350 and read endless negative posts about them. 🙂

They have always given them out to first time owners only and I have not seen where second owners have been able to get the package from Ford performance.

Had that one on my 16 and then 17 back before the price jumped. When traded the 17 they prorated a refund back to me without no hassle.

They’re to damn expensive even with discount.
