  1. Sync v1.0 to v3.4

I have a 2015 base model GT and just did the swap from Sync 1 to Sync 3. The radio I installed has version 1.0. How do I go from version 1.0 to version 3.4? A friend of mine said that all I need is to plug in a USB with the software on it. Another friend said that I have to upgrade to an...
  2. Modifying As-Built Data Guide

So my heat and air conditioning wouldn’t turn on because a fuse was blown during the install of the Sync 3 (likely because the battery wasn’t unplugged). After the Sync 3 was programmed properly and some diagnosing, the fuse was replaced and the a/c / heat system started right up. I had a...
  3. Modifying As-Built Data Guide

Just swapped from Sync 1 to Sync 3. As it sits now, my heat and a/c controls, heated/cooled seats, navigation, bluetooth, drive modes, steering modes, etc. all don’t function. How do I get these to become active? Do I need to change the as-built data first and then enable them? I was messing...
  4. Georgia 15-17 3" Borla ATAK Chrome Tips with 3" Borla resonator.

Sale of resonator still pending? đź‘€
  5. Vibrant resonators

OP, can we get some before and after sound clips? I'm looking to add resonators to my current setup (headers, xpipe, roush AB). I love the tone, but it's ear piercingly loud.
  6. Georgia 15-17 3" Borla ATAK Chrome Tips with 3" Borla resonator.

Any chance you’ll part out the Borla resonator? I have that same setup, and I’m looking for a resonator to install to quiet it down a bit.
  7. Remote clutch reservoir install (with pics)

Excuse my ignorance, but what's the purpose of this mod?
  8. Hi! need help for 2015-2017 mustang gT exhaust.

Both of those setups are very raspy. If you're into that type of sound, which I am, then you can't go wrong with either. If I could do it all over again, I would have bought the Corsa brand because it's more exotic sounding, in my opinion. But, no matter which setup you choose, I think you'll...
  9. Hi! need help for 2015-2017 mustang gT exhaust.

It's the axlebacks causing the drone. When I had the Borla mufflers on (with the same pipes), no drone.
  10. Hi! need help for 2015-2017 mustang gT exhaust.

OP, I have the Borla Sport catback midpipes with Roush Axleback mufflers installed on my 2015 Mustang. It looks like that combo will work. The exhaust tone is incredible in my opinion (if you like raspy exhaust). I've gotten nothing but compliments. However, it's pretty loud and the drone...
  11. Oil drain plug keeps spinning...

I wouldn't leave the bolt in there like that. You can either replace the pan, or tap & die the threads for a different sized bolt. Or, maybe you can seal up the factory hole, drill a new hole, and tap & die for a new bolt location? I would play it safe and just replace the pan. You don't...
  12. Spark Plugs and Coils Advice

    1. OEM Motorcraft or NGK Iridum spark plugs. You can gap them between .049 - .053. I just did mine, and set them at .051. 2. OEM coil packs. I didn’t replace mine.
  13. Preventative Maintenance -- Replaced spark plugs!

I haven't noticed any oil consumption. I change my synthetic oil once a year, which is about 4,000 - 5,000 miles. I don't know what the torque spec is. I just added anti-sieze to the threads and tightened them all down by hand. I'll get my hands on a friend's torque wrench, but until then...
  14. Preventative Maintenance -- Replaced spark plugs!

Happy to help! I don’t think it will matter since the plugs are easily accessible. But, you’ll have all of your tools out for the manifold install, so you can do everything in one shot during that install. I have the same manifold. You’ll like it. It’s a nice bump in power.
