Maxwell did a PERFECT job doing an engine replacement on my last GT350. IMHO, the key is setting the expectations from the get go. Anthony Vento was my service advisor. He understood how particular I am and even called the mechanic to meet me when I dropped the car off.
One thing that I found when dealing with my replacement/buyback was that the longer I kept the case open, the more motivated they were to yield on my requests. It's clear that they had checkpoints every 15 days.
I just don't understand the motivation behind this post. It's like those "Let's Boycott Dealers Who Charge ADM" threads. It's not like anyone is forced to read this message board or it's posts. The only motivation I can think of is folks that are looking to sell and don't want buyers seeing...
My guess is that they were always ceramic coated; but the OP just never noticed. And now they're caked with brake dust. The easiest way to check would be to peek at the back of the spokes. They're probably still white since dust doesn't collect as much there.
This assertion assumes that all the debris causing this damage are at rest on the road surface. Personally, I would guess that the debris is already in flight flung up by the tires. At this point, the rocks are already at or near the speed of the car and the force required to propel them into...
You guys are talking past each other. OEM front wheels have a white ceramic thermal coating behind the spokes and on the inner barrel - think Jet Hot. Ford does not do ceramic paint coating.
