I've had this issue twice. It's the box that goes between the factory cables and LCD etc that has to be reset. It's happened to me leaving a store. It was fine before but now it's black.

No, there's an RCA out to plug up to the head unit on The Scosche kit.

The Metra kit displays the cam on the HVAC screen? Surely they'll have a video output like the Scosche kit so it can go to the aftermarket head unit.

I came close to buying one of the Chinese based units but I'm so glad I held off. That's a cool idea switching the 12v for the USB and hdmi. I did the auto EQ tuning today and it sounds great. It set my 12" sub to -18db. lol
