I get that there is some exclusivity with owning a 350 but this kit makes the 15-17GT's look great and they way they should have all come from the factory. I agree. I would do this to keep the auto trans and have the 350 styling.
I also said the BIGGEST reason was the suspension and half shafts. One 2018 has broken a half shaft. That's a lot easier of a fix than having to redo the entire suspension. The car has also fixed some of the power issues down low with the A10, gearing, and a bump in compression ratio.
I also said I would have ended up with FI. The biggest overall turnoff was the suspension and weak half shafts. I would buy an 18 now as it has addressed almost all of these issues.
I have a sixth gen and the visibility thing hasn't been an issue once. Is it perfect, NO. but that horse has been beaten to death. I agree on the trunk space, back seat is useless, a/c vents are horribly placed, A8 transmission is a nightmare, and there were a ton of bugs but I guess that can be...
I think the 19 camaro will really have to step it up for me to go that route. I've always had forced induction on my cars and the mustangs respond way better to boost. My car is fuel limited to about 585 whp and then it needs expensive direct injection upgrades. Low side fuel pump, high side...
I doubt there will be a power bump. When the 14-15 Camaro refresh happened, people thought it would get a bump because it was known that the 11-14 mustang GT's were faster. GM didn't care a single bit. Same power. Same crap L99 in the auto with only 400hp. Im thinking they will add the styling...
Ive been waiting and waiting and waiting..... on the GT500. I wouldn't mind taking a look that way. Seems like my kids will be out of college by the time it comes out anyway..lol. If the styling is right, power is there, and it can be had with the A10, id give it a hard look too. I know the ZL-1...
Ive been on both sides. Ive owned 5 mustangs including a 2003 cobra which was probably the most fun car I've ever had to date. Im a fan of the new mustang and what its been able to do. I also know that I love the torque of the 6th gens. I test drove the 16 GT and Camaro before picking the Camaro...
some of the guys on Camaro 6 are obnoxious but so are some of you guys here. Yes the 5.0 is more advanced technologically. It makes great power power for the size. Yes the Camaro has to use more cubic inches but in turn we get a better torque band and driving experience. The cars are close and...
I am a car enthusiast and can admit that there is a lot of butt hurt over the 18 mustang. I have owned 4 mustangs including an 03 cobra so I'm by far no chevy fanboy. I now own a 16 camaro A8. I think competition is good. The 18 mustang is fast. I think LMR's times in reasonable DA are going to...
