  1. Drilled and slotted rotors

I was under the impression that European cars still allowed the use of materials that produced gasses which was why some europeans sporty cars still had the drilled rotors... at least this was true 10 years ago.
  2. Ohio Thread

Beautiful car! I use the big ones for all my parts. I live next to Summit so I'm there all the time. I order from CJ, Steeda, LMR a lot too. I usually do my own installs so not sure about the shops, but Pauls in Cinncy I hear great stuff about.
  3. Installing BMR CBK760, replace the whole arm too?

I just removed my lower control arm to install BMR's CBK760. I was getting ready to take them to get pressed in and started wondering if it would make more sense to replace the full arm and ball joint at the same time? I've read the performance pack cars eat ball joints and wondered how much...
  4. GT4 Win at VIR (Ford 1st and 2nd)

I just got to watch the race today. Wow, that was fantastic. Joey Hand and Billy Johnson nose to tail for the win. Awesome.
  5. Abs/advanced/airbag/tractioncontrol/ lights on. Bad speed sensor or thrust washer?

On my car, its was a ground underneath the airbag in the engine bay. Unbolted, cleaned and reinstalled and everything was fine.
  6. Northeast Ohio s550's

I'll have to keep an eye open for the green Mustang. Won't mis that!
  7. Northeast Ohio s550's

Mogadore! Hopefully Summit will have the Mustang show this summer. It would be great to meet everyone.
  8. Clutch install, backyard doable?

SheepDog, thanks for the advice. I ended up recentering the disc, but really pushing in on that plastic alignment tool to make sure it didn't move this time. It slid together first time this way. I appreciate the response.
  9. Clutch install, backyard doable?

I've been changing my clutch today and I'm stuck trying to get the transmission to go back in. The alignment tool slides in but I can only get the transmission to within a 1/4 inch of going in. My arms are so sore from pulling, pushing, lifting and giving it the finger. Any suggestions on...
  10. Clutch install, backyard doable?

SheepDog, how do you like the Spec clutch? Which one did you choose?
  11. Lund not tuning for California Customers anymore

It’s a really difficult market to sell into. The Carb and Prop 65 laws are rather vaguely written which allows for different interpretation. (I personally think they are written vaguely so the self-funded Carb board can find more companies in violation.) Companies have to make their best...
  12. Lund not tuning for California Customers anymore

I think the California law that is most concerning is a Sacramento law from July 3rd essentially saying car owners can’t do more than basic maintenance on their cars at their home. It’s vaguely written and leaves a lot of room for interpretation by law enforcement...
  13. Ohio Thread

We did. You had a pretty ambitious couple of days hitting shows at both ends of the state. You doing that again this year?
  14. Ohio Thread

A couple of events worth note coming up in the next few weeks for North East Ohio. This Sunday, 7/14, Cars and Coffee will be at Summit Racing in Tallmadge from 8:30-11:30. The first one in May had over 800 cars, trucks and motorcycles turn out. Its a quick show but a lot of cool stuff. The...
