two reason for tech pack to possibly be less valuable as the car ages. --Tech ages a car. Ever been in a Mercedes or Land Rover from 2000? That old tech is hilariously dated. In the next 15 years, it will likely become obsolete, and a terrible reminder of how archaic technology was in 2016...

all of the parts, shipping, paint, labor are all expensive, and at the end of the day you all you have is a replica. You may as well just get the real thing. This won't be the same as just changing a bumper and a hood like the old days.
