Well, I was measuring different connectors and then tried to find them on https://www.mouser.com/
Also fellow German Mustang enthusiast @Falk03 was helping me big time having done his own research in the connector business.
I didnāt bother about the mentioned c405 connector, since my fog light...
Itās really difficult to help, if you donāt provide a bare minimum of information.
What model year are you working on. Which steps of the instructions did you already perform?
a little more insight would be really helpful
Strange, the only things that come to my mind:
make sure your CAN wires tap into the correct circuits
CAN polarity correct?
CAN wires shorted to ground by mistake?
orher than that Iām running out of ideas
When you fire up forscan, make sure to NOT load your previously stored vehicle profile. Create a new profile when asked, itās slow but that way forscan will scan your CAN bus for any modules present. If your wiring is good, both modules should show up.
From your pictures I canāt tell for sure...
Left or right doesnāt matter. One of the modules (right hand side) wirings has two ground wires instead of one. That way the module itself āknowsā which side of the vehicle it is located at and will identify itself on the can-bus accordingly.

Wether the brake lights...
Actually it is possible to enable the emergency brake lights. The Euro Spec Mustangs MY15-17 have it enabled from factory. Not sure about MY18+

hi Tim,
yes youāre right. You also need the terminal for the c2280b connector. Iām not sure if one of those you ordered will fit in that connector. According to our German forum it should be mouser # 1924955-x (the x could be 3, 5 or 7). But take it with a grain of salt and better look that up...
not sure what you mean by SBC,
the BCM behind the passenger kickpanel gets powered through several fuses from the Power distribution box in the engine compartment.
it detects your light switch settings and Fog light button press and then sends 12V from its internal power supply to the pin 25...
