  1. 2015 6R80 acting weird - wrench light

Is there a way I can troubleshoot on my own you think?
  2. 2015 6R80 acting weird - wrench light

My transmission has been acting weird for weeks. When I have in S-manual mode, periodically the computer takes over and cancels my gear choice and downshifts on its own, until I click the paddle again to get control. This morning I actually got a wrench light - see manual. I shut the engine off...
  3. Bilstein B12 (B6 + Eibach Pro kit) experience/recommendation

His issue appeared to be due to factory manufacturing tolerances rather than the RLCA design. Correct me if I'm wrong. Why don't you look under there at the RLCA. If it's round like his, should be fine.
  4. Bilstein B12 (B6 + Eibach Pro kit) experience/recommendation

https://vorshlag-store.com/collections/s550-mustang-suspension/products/copy-of-ohlins-road-track-for-2015-19-ford-mustang-s550-fos-mr00 Read this. Per Vorshlag, 2015-17 RLCA is compatible.
  5. Bilstein B12 (B6 + Eibach Pro kit) experience/recommendation

I thought he had a 2018 but I could be wrong. I PM'd with him a lot lemme go check.
  6. Bilstein B12 (B6 + Eibach Pro kit) experience/recommendation

I think the 2017 RLCA is the same and it only changed for 2018+ cars. I don't know for sure but that's my best guess. The manual says it was designed for a 2016 Mustang.
  7. Best lowering springs for Base GT

If you upgrade the springs trust me do the shocks as well.
  8. Faulty TPMS sensor? What to trust?

I got new wheels/tires and new TPMS sensors. The driver rear is reading 7 psi lower than the other three. But when I measure all four with Jaco handheld gauge I get a consistent reading. It is also consistent with my portable air compressor. The suspected TPMS sensor is not giving me no reading...
  9. Bilstein B12 (B6 + Eibach Pro kit) experience/recommendation

At 1" drop do you NEED a bumpsteer kit? Absolutely, no. But it will be impacted and you'll probably notice it. And it will behave better with it. Do you need to correct the roll center? No, but it will be impacted for anything over a 0.5" drop. You could use camber bolts to adjust the front if...
  10. Bilstein B12 (B6 + Eibach Pro kit) experience/recommendation

I will echo @***** here and say the Ohlins R&T kit is amazing. It's easy to find damper settings that will work, and it can be setup to feel like a go-kart. It rides extremely well IMO for a lowered car and the higher spring rates. That said it will feel noticeably firmer than stock for the...
  11. Improving wet traction

Just fitted DWS06+ tires and they're very capable in the wet. Very impressed by this tire.
  12. Best Brake Rotor/Pad kit for the money? 6 piston brembos

Raybestos street performance kit on RockAuto
  13. Bilstein B12 (B6 + Eibach Pro kit) experience/recommendation

You will have some altered bumpsteer with that drop yes
  14. Bouncy Rear End after Suspension Mods

A well-tuned well-damped setup should go one up, one down over bumps with no extra bounces. Higher rate springs and a lowered ride height is going to ride firm, no matter what. You just need to know if it's properly controlling the movement of the spring and vehicle motion, which it sounds like...
  15. Bouncy Rear End after Suspension Mods

@Mustangcol Glad the new GT350 setup is working! The Ford Performance shocks are good right? I don't know what happened with the Bilsteins. I've heard good things. May be a bumpstop issue like another user suggested. You have a really nice setup now. 👌
