  3. What is it like driving '65 - '73 Mustang and how does it compare to a S550??

Yeah, I very rarely drive the 68, and when I do it's short distances. I never pull out in front of anyone or ride anyone's ass. Makes me wonder how people drove back when the car was new. Were they as aggressive?
  4. What is it like driving '65 - '73 Mustang and how does it compare to a S550??

I also have a 68 coupe and this opinion is right on the nose. You have to be a much more "active" and cautious driver when operating that vehicle. The car itself is not safe by modern standards, so if you get hit, it's going to cause some serious damage to you. The brakes suck so you cannot...
  5. 275/35/20 for a 20x9.5?

Thanks all for the help! 275/35/20 it is
  6. 275/35/20 for a 20x9.5?

Great, thanks for the reply! It was between 275/35 or 280/30 and I feel like the 280/30 would have a smaller sidewall that 275/35.
  7. 275/35/20 for a 20x9.5?

Thanks for the help. Im not too worried about the width as much as sidewall height. I don’t want the tire to look too thin.
  8. 275/35/20 for a 20x9.5?

Going off of a picture of @Matt550 (pictured below) here on the forums in the RTR Tech 7 thread, it looks like a 275/35/20 on a 20x9.5 wheel would look perfect. Would that size be correct before I drop money on tires? I'm lowered 1" on Steeda Progressives. ATTACH=full]493246[/ATTACH] The...
  9. New tires for my mustang EcoBoost 2017

Ah, sorry I misinterpreted. For the rears definitely go larger. 285 at a minimum for the rears and for the fronts you could also do a 275. I'm not entirely sure on the tire heights for those though. For example, i'm probably about to pull the trigger on some 20x9.5 square wheels with a...
  10. New tires for my mustang EcoBoost 2017

From what I've gathered people really like the Firestone Indy Firehawks, the Michelin Pilot Sports and Continental DW's.
  11. Sumitomo HTR Z5, anyone tried them?

I'm looking at a set of wheels from AM and they come with 285/30/20 Sumitomo HTR Z5's. Anyone had any experience with these? Last Sumitomo tires I got for a car ran a bit small. From the little bit of information I've found these seem to be replacements for the Z3, which everyone thought was...
  12. Why no availability for SVE R350 wheels until October?!

Looks like I was a week late then. LMR says the R357’s should be back in stock by July 29th and those are top of my list right now. I’ll just wait I guess.
  13. Why no availability for SVE R350 wheels until October?!

i just went to RTR’s website. Black 19’s and 20’s both show sold out. Am I missing something? https://www.rtrvehicles.com/collections/rtr-mustang-wheels/products/rtr-tech-7?variant=17254568886330
  14. Why no availability for SVE R350 wheels until October?!

Not in black they’re not. Sold out in black. Available in the charcoal grey.
  15. Why no availability for SVE R350 wheels until October?!

I’m in the same boat. I need new tires but I didn’t want to buy new tires until I had some new wheels. Now that I can afford it everything I want is out of stock. Tech 7s, Tech Mesh, SVE R350 and R357’s. The S350’s are in stock but are low on my want list. At this point I’m almost considering...
