I’m looking into the Borla line of exhausts and I noticed they sell a s type axle back, a s type catback, an atak catback, but do not sell an atak axle back. I can see the s type comes with a mid resonator while the atak catback comes with just an xpipe mid pipe. My car already has an x pipe...
Looking to buy the Borla active axle back for 18+ GT. Hoping to help it take it off someone’s hands. Willing to travel if it’s not a crazy distance from Virginia.
I noticed the Gen 4 Coyote went back to a steel oil pan with a bolt instead of the plastic one with the butt plug like the Gen 3. If the Gen 4 pan directly fits a Gen 3, is anyone planning to do the swap?
Its been speculated that some of the noises heard from the gen 3 (piston rattle, ticking...
Hey there just wanted to check back in. I still have the issue but it’s not a huge bother. Any chance your dealer finally figured it out? I feel like it’s an easy fix, just add 50-100rpm to the warm start initial start up and it would be gone!
yeah it’s the premium care. They told me the power train is covered but I seriously doubt it would be, in fact I confirmed the fine print says the roush supercharger isn’t covered and voids the rest of the powertrain. I even asked the sales manager if she was sure the power train was covered...
yes. The kit was installed by a Ford dealer and since it was ford warrantied and it hasn’t expired I was told the extended warranty would cover the power train. I figured it was worth a shot anyways because it was 8 a month extra that then covers everything else.
agreed, I bought my 19 PP2 used with the phase 2 already on it and got a 80,000 mile 10 year bumper to bumper for dumb cheap. So what I did was contact Roush and they had a calibration update for my car. So I’d suggest owners check with roush. I’m sure I could make more consistent power with an...
I’d say wait for the official numbers from Ford. Ford went as far as to call this the gen 4 coyote. With that new intake system, and most likely other small tweaks I’d be surprised if it was the same. I know this isn’t a 1 to 1 comparison but people were up in arms over the new wrx having 1 more...
So unfortunately the new TB did not fix my issues. Hopefully Ford finds something for you and I can try it. I have an appoint to have the calibration updated on oct. 10th the dealers around here are super booked up.
I appreciate that man. I would love to if the part number is GR3Z-9E926-A! I’m trying to eliminate any variable. That’s the part number that Roush says is for their kit.
The TB arrived and it was the wrong part number. I had to return it and this time I ordered from Tasca. So I'll update you when that arrives and the TB is replaced.
Interesting thanks for the info! So I guess the 5 pin connectors is an easy way to spot the digitals? Also that still means there are multiple TB part numbers that are digital.
